Touch and Feel Rubik’s Cube

The University of Zhejiang designed a Rubik’s Cube especially for blind people.

There are six different basic materials used for each side a different one. The materials used for each of the six sides of the Rubik’s Cube are: metal, wood, textile, rubber, plastic and stone.

The different materials give people different senses, which thus enabled the blind people to enjoy solving Rubik’s Cube. Happy Puzzling!

European Championship Speedcubing 2006

The European Championship Speedcubing 2006 (official competition WCA)will be held on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th of September 2006 in Paris, France. More details will follow end of April 2006 at speedcubing.com. This competition is open to citizens of the European countries and Israel.
