While doing some research about the readers of this puzzle blog I found a report from Telephia.

They found out that puzzle and strategy games drive one-third of the total mobile games revenues. This alone is not very interesting but as the report continuous they state that Mobile games appeal to women. Sixty-five percent of mobile game revenue is driven by female wireless subscribers and they are the biggest drivers of revenue for the Puzzle Strategy category; comprising 72 percent of the total share revenue, while men made up 28 percent of the revenue.

For all environmental friendly puzzle lovers I found Gridlock.

This online puzzle game is based upon Rush hour (original from Binary Arts) and has 40 addictive levels and no cars involved.

Object is to slide the blue block out the right hand side exit just like rush hour. Gridlock is designed in 2001 by Corwin Derkatch from Crystalnewmedia.com and has a special look which I like very much. Happy Puzzling!

After the first Sudoku championships were held in Lucca (Italy) last year.

The second World Championships in Sudoku (WSC) as an independent event will be held in Prague in April 2007. This was announced June 24 by the organisational committee chairman Vitezslav Koudelka.

The World Sudoku Championships in Prague might have not only individuals’, but also a teams’ competition. Happy Puzzling!
