Do you still remember the Rubik’s cube? elogIQ’s Cmetrick Puzzle looks much like Rubik’s Clock.
Cmetrick is a puzzle that has nine colored balls in a 3×3 square. As you move the columns or rows of balls, the colored faces get scrambled! The goal is to develop an algorithm for bringing the puzzle from any scrambled configuration to its “Initial Configuration” (IC), in which all spheres are positioned in the same orientation. In the IC, the same color shows on top, right, left, front, back, and bottom of all spheres. There is a grand prize available for the person who develops the shorted algorithm.
You can buy Cmetrick at PuzzleMaster Inc. or play Cmetrick’s puzzle online. Cmetrick’s puzzle is recommended for ages 8 and up. Happy Puzzling!
