Weblog > Quad Clue Sudoku
Quad Clue Sudoku is a brand new Sudoku variant by David Millar from The Griddle.
UPDATE : Quad Clue Sudoku is based upon the original Quadruple Clue Sudoku by Henry Kwok (sorry Henry but it was never the intention to not mention you as the inventor of Quadruple Clue Sudoku, if only we had known before).
The latest quad clue Sudoku sheet contains nine Sudoku puzzles to solve. Each Quad Clue Sudoku puzzle contains features a six by six Sudoku grid with four numbers at some of the grid intersection points. These four numbers correspond to the four numbers in the four adjoining squares. It’s another way of providing starting clues, without telling you exactly where they are. Happy Puzzling!

Readers of this blog should find Quad Clue Sudoku familiar. It is identical to Quadruple Clue Sudoku which is the name given by famous Ukrainian puzzle maker, Serhiy Grabarchuk, to my nine-by-nine Sudoku grid puzzle posted on his Age of Puzzles website in 2006.
My puzzle was also used in the Second World Sudoku Championship at Prague and the Italian National Sudoku Championship in 2007.
Hello Aman,
Thanks for this addition to the blog entry.
Marcel
Dear Marcel,
Thanks for understanding the necessity of my clarification.
Thanks, Marcel for your update.
You are one of the rare few that are so professional and ethical in the Sudoku/puzzle world where plagiarism is so brazen, rampant and widespread.
It looks like our friend is still unrepentant of what he is doing. He even has the cheeks to use the original name of my Sudoku variant "Quadruple Clue Sudoku" in http://www.passionforpuzzles.com/Sudoku-variants/ but a click on the link in the variant discription reveals the new name he coined for my Sudoku variant — "Quad Clue Sudoku".
really good article…
I must say, its worth it! My link:http://anabelwvjohn.xanga.com/ ,many Thanks….
