The Wedding Vows is a classic puzzle if there ever was one.  It was around when marriage was deemed to be a permanent union.  Nowadays, things have changed, and separations are much more common, and the parties go back to where they were.  This puzzle demonstrates this phenomen wery well.

All that aside; the Wedding Vows is a great puzzle that is very well made and will entertain puzzlers of all aqes and solving skills.  Though fairly difficult; once you get it figured out, the 2 rings can be joined together and separated .  You don’t have to be an expert to learn how to do it or have someone show you how.  Many puzzles are such that once you can do it; you soon forget how .  With this one, once you get it, you will soon get it again later.

It is a fairly large puzzle, the wooden bar being 9″ long, the metal rings are 1 1/4 ” in diameter ,and the heavy nylon (not wire) is about 24″ in total length.  Puzzles of this type are often referred to as entanglement puzzles, where the object is to disassemble them at first ,then reassemble them.

What I really like about this puzzle is that it looks simple, but really isn’t; and therefore people do not immediately get intimidated by it.

Some people are quite skilled and like to make puzzles and this might be a good one to start with.

A well made puzzle that will give years of challenge and enjoyment.
