I was quite puzzled with this painting of Oleg. I was tricked that there are two birds sitting on the branch. I only realized that there’s only one real bird when I had tried to compare their details. I was fascinated because the leaves were really deceiving. This kind of artwork allows us to understand more about human perception. It can also help us realize how perception is affected with our tendencies to associate and assume.
