Cubic Hourglasses is a concept by Bram Cohen. The puzzle has four hourglass-shaped pieces, and a three-quarter-circle piece. The objective is to get the latter piece from the top to the bottom. The pieces do not only slide like in a sliding block puzzle. They also turn, pivot and skew.
The key feature of this puzzle toy is the strange shapes which is called cubic hourglasses and an interesting sort of spiral type shape that you can see on the top with a red and orange stickers. The cubic hourglasses can move up and down. Because of its rounded shape, it can also do other special moves. There are some holes and these shows the orientation of the parts. The cubic hourglasses can be moved in different kinds of positions. The objective is to get the special piece from the top all the way to the bottom and to keep the cubic hourglasses aligned. The big holes will allow you to cheat. The mechanism is not yet perfect so this one is just a prototype that at least works. There would be an iteration of this puzzle toy. Overall, this puzzle toy looks nice and the concept works.
