Another great effort by the puzzle creator whose name is familiar to any OMNIHEURIST (puzzle solver) and who likes to spend a little time giving the old brain a bit of exercise. First of all, let me say, Monster 500 Puzzle Challenge has a good variety of puzzles and of various difficulties. There are puzzles for all ages. Some real simple ones like Connect-the-Dots and others such as Spot- the-Differences can be enjoyed by the kids. Others of the logic type will challenge the more mature. That means it is excellent puzzle book for everyone in the family to enjoy. It comes with full answers at the back to help if you get stuck. The puzzles are all graded as to three levels of difficulty. With 500 puzzles, you’ll get lots of variety but at the same time there are many same- type puzzles. One good feature of this book is that all one needs is a soft pencil and an eraser. None of the puzzles requires one to cut up, (mutilate) the book, which annoys me. After you finish completing a puzzle it can be redone by another. Here is an idea of the puzzle types you’ll find: Stack Up, Find the Differences, Balancing the Scales, Crosswords, Path Puzzles, Find the Missing, Tsunamis (fill the cells to complete pictures), Matching Pairs, Mazes, Knots, Fit Together, Battleships, Cogs and Pulleys, Connect the Plugs, Silhouettes, Divide ’em Ups, Logic Puzzles, and even more. It is a large book, 9″X11″ and 1/2″ thick using high quality paper, color illustrations and overall durable construction. A puzzle book that will can be enjoyed by the whole family and provide many hours of entertainment. You can purchase this book at Amazon.
