At first, I thought that this sculpture was made of glass. I was stunned to find out that this is a still image of ice crystals. It is interesting because Andrew was able to capture such a gorgeous ice crystal form with such richness of detail.

About the Blind Fury

Andrew Osokin has taken striking macro photographic pictures of snowflakes. This picture shows the magnificence of the fractal micro-structures which we typically fail to distinguish with our own eyes.

About the Artist

Andrew Osokin is a Moscow-based photographer who loves capturing detailed photos of the complex forms of individual snowflakes and ice crystals that are in the course of melting away. He usually use his 60/90mm macro lens and his Nikon D90.
