Perplexus Maze Game is a 3D maze puzzle game ball where players must maneuver a small marble around challenging barriers inside a transparent sphere.

Unlike traditional flat-surface mazes that are composed of one path, Perplexus houses various exhilarating tracks with 100 barriers and provides a three dimensional experience. Players select which track they would like to attempt, and then must work with gravity and carefully shift, flip, and twist the sphere to guide the marble. Players can race each other or the clock.

Dr Gareth Moore, the author of over 20 best selling international puzzle and brain-training titles from a wide range of publishers, published a great Sudoku variant puzzle on his weblog.

Rules for this is a five-grid Samurai Killer Calcudoku:
- Place 1 to 9 into each row, column and 3×3 box of the five underlying 9×9 Sudoku grids
- Place numbers into the Calcudoku dashed-line cages to fulfil the results at the top-left of each cage. The given operator when applied between all of the numbers must give the stated result, e.g. the solution to '5+' could be '2+1+2'. For subtraction and division start with the largest number, so for example '3-' could be '6-3'.
- Numbers can be repeated in Calcudoku cages, subject to the row, column and 3×3 box constraints.

Unlike his other puzzles he hasn't used any symmetry in this one. This Sudoku variant isn't especially hard, but with so many places to potentially go it might take you a little while. Happy Puzzling

Prizma Puzzle 2 is the sequel of sci-fi puzzle game Prizma Puzzle.

In this version of Prizma Puzzle 2 there are 40 challenging levels of chain-reaction puzzles to solve. Use the mouse to click on a start node. Click on contiguous nodes to create your path. Bored of the Rubik's Cube after all these years, mastering the puzzle in a way where you can even solve it blindfolded? Why not tease your brain all over again with a new puzzle game known as Rubik's Slide.

Jigsaw puzzle clock is a fun to make clock out of jigsaw puzzle pieces, with a puzzle piece moving around on one of the arms of the clock, so when the clock strikes the hour the puzzle piece fits.

Each puzzle pieces is about an inch in size, however most puzzles that size are children's puzzles. As most don't want a Dora the Explorer puzzle in their living room the creator of this Jigsaw puzzle clock used a blank puzzle sheet instead and glued some scrapbook paper on it.   In hindsight, he could have just glued the scrapbook  paper onto cardboard and cut out the puzzle shapes freehand.

Allout is a lovely version based on logic puzzle game Lights Out.

The object of Allout is to turn off all of the glowing lights on the game board. Sounds simple enough, but Allout is anything but. By clicking on a glowing button you reverse the state of adjacent buttons - from On to Off, or Off to On.

RuBot II set a new Guinness world record for the worlds fastest robot to solve a Rubik's cube.

Audio Puzzle by Dexoris Nominated as the Best Music Game of 2009 for iPhone and iPod Touch.

The innovative music game Audio Puzzle for iPhone and iPod touch has been nominated as the best music game of 2009 by the popular review site 148apps.com. This nomination is part of the Best App Ever award ceremony and was Audio Puzzle selected by users of the site and a team of industry veterans.

Audio Puzzle, created by young Icelandic developers Dexoris, is therefore recognized as a worthy competitor to other music games created by giants of the gaming industry such as Rock Band by Electronic Arts, Tap Tap Tap Revenge 3 by Tapoulus and Guitar Rock Tour by Gameloft. Users can vote for their favorite game until January 31st 2010 and the winners in each category will be announced on February 10th at the 2010 Macworld Expo.

Audio Puzzle, however, is unlike other music games as it connects with the player's music library and uses his favorite songs as material for interesting audio jigsaw puzzles. There is therefore no need for the player to buy a song he already owns - Audio Puzzle simply turns every song into a game.

Audio Puzzle has been getting acclaim from around the world since its release in December. On December 24th the game appeared on the What's Hot list in the iTunes store in Japan and on January 6th the game was handpicked by Apple to occupy the best promotional space in iTunes stores all around the world.

Object is to add the numbers up before you run out of moves. Place the tile on the top of the queue from the right side on the game board so all surrounding tiles add up to that value. Nina Ottosson from Sweden started in 1993 with development and design of dog-activating toys and games for dogs and dog-owners, which is to mentally activate the dog in a positive and educational manner.

Dog Smart is an ingenious game for you and your dog. Hide treats or dry food bits in the cavities under the bricks. Let the dog search for the treats by moving the bricks aside, either with the paw or the nose. It is not possible to lift the bricks. Ingenious and full of fun.

You can also make it more difficult by locking the bricks with the same type of blocks used in the big DogSmart. Now the dog has to lift the blocks in order to push the bricks aside and thus reach the treats. You can also put some pegs or sticks from trees between the bricks and lock the bricks.

2010 started really good as free puzzle directory The Griddle published a brilliant Slitherlink variant called Shapely Slitherlink created by David Millar.

For each Shapely Slitherlink puzzle, draw a single closed loop along the grid lines using the clues given. The loop must not have any intersections with three or more line segments and must not have any dead ends with a single line segment coming to a halt. The shapes in each square are placeholders representing the number of surrounding lines that are part of the loop - 0 through 3.

Objec is for you to figure out which shape represents which number and solve the slitherlink puzzle with a single loop based on those numbers. Happy Puzzling!

It seems there is a new version of Bubble Spinner called Bubble Spinner 2, but as far as I can see it's the same as the first version.

Well something is new: Bubble Spinner is now also available for iPhone and iPod Touch, via the App Store.
