The Lost City

lostcity1

Remember The Secret of Grisly Manor – the first foray from Fire Maple? Well, the second is The Lost City, still by the same developer. The puzzles in this game require pixel-hunting throughout the city. The player has to look at each room and find items that are added to the inventory. These items can be used later when the player checks other rooms. The city opens with flourishing waterfalls, ornate alcoves, and hidden jewels that the player has to find – looks much like a scene from one of Indiana Jones’ Movies.

The ability of the game to [Read More...]

Bridge Constructor

bridge1

Have you ever been to the Island nation of Camatuga? Neither have I – I don’t think it even exists. Bridge Constructor allows you to explore the Island while building bridges. Players can build their bridges over rivers, canals or even deep valleys. After the player has completed the bridge, they perform a stress test to see whether the completed bride can withstand the stress from trucks and cars that use it.

One of the best things is that the game allows the player to choose what materials to use when building their [Read More...]

Red Stone

redstone1

Red Stone for the Android OS is a new take on an old concept.  It seems easy at first; simply get the big red Android alien to the other end of the level. Once you start playing however you soon realize that this game is super addicting and very challenging. The first level is easy enough but the second level really requires some critical thinking and puzzle solving skills as you slide blocks around to get the alien to the other side.

The Room

The Room 1

The Room is a puzzle game unlike any other puzzle game on the cell phone market. This brings me back to adventure games of the past where you had to solve a room or device to enter the next room or sequence of events. I absolutely love these games. I am very intrigued with the challenges that were laid out before me. This game is no exception.  It has me very intrigued. I think two hours has past and I haven’t even noticed time at all.

The game is phenomenal in it’s design and execution of [Read More...]

Dublox

dublox4

I know that I have played Bloxorz before and when Dublox said that it was like Bloxorz but better I was sceptical.  So I got the game and started to play it.  I don’t know about this game being any better then Bloxorz but it sure is just as much fun and ads a new challenge to the game.  I will have to say that the graphics are a lot more animated in Dublox then in Bloxorz.  I quite enjoyed that aspect of the game.  I like the music a bit better then Bloxorz.

I really can’t complain [Read More...]

Cognitile

cognitile1

The name of the game is Cognitile.  The object of the game is to get from one side of the maze to the other.  There are many objects that will stand in your way but the catch is you will not see them when you need to.

You will be shown the path that you must walk through for 3 seconds.  Then you will have to rely on your memory to make your way through the maze.  there will be snakes and rocks and pits to keep from getting to your end goal.

This game gets trickier as [Read More...]

Cryptica

cryptica1

Cryptica is a well made puzzle game with very well done visuals.  I have been playing this game for quite awhile and still come back to it as I have hardly gotten through the levels.  This is no ordinary puzzle game.  The levels are very challenging and the visuals are very nice to look at.

The object of the game is pretty simple.  Move the stones to there correct resting place.  The only problem is that all the stones move at the same time.  You will have to use all the objects in the puzzle to maneuver [Read More...]
