Object is still the same, link every pair of the same colored markers. You can only use the gray squares to create a link, the black squares are blocked. Difference between the first and the second release of this Flash Puzzle Game is that there is a story included. Every level tells you a part of the story (this function can be switched off). Color Rush is a combination of Othello and Chinese Checkers.

You start as the white crystal on the lower left corner and pick colors to expand your field. Your opponent is the black gem at the right top corner. You win if you grab more than half of the crystals.
