Dutchman and teacher Auke Reijenga (48) opened his own puzzle museum in a small Dutch city called Joure (website is in Dutch only).
Over the years Auke collected over fifty thousand puzzles which were all over his house and in a barn. Part of his puzzle collection (a few thousand) can now be viewed by puzzle lovers. There is also a part in the museum where kids can play with some puzzles. The puzzle museum has all kind of puzzles except for jigsaw puzzles. Auke and his wife solved almost all puzzles of his collection.
Katrin Sonnleitner created this extremely modular jigsaw type flooring.
It’s a Persian carpet called PuzzlePerser, made out of 1225 individual jigsaw puzzle pieces per square meter. The jigsaw puzzle pieces are made of recyclable mixture of synthetic and natural rubber.
