Largest Puzzle In The World by Ravensburger


The largest puzzle maker of Europe, Ravensburger, has celebrated its 125th anniversary with a remarkable stunt. Almost 15,000 enthusiastic puzzle fans completed a puzzle of 1,141,800 pieces in the German town Ravensburg last Sunday (September 28th 2008).

In just over five hours more than a million puzzle pieces where laid in the right place. The almost six hundred square meters large puzzle will be mentioned in the Guinness Book of World record. Puzzle Museum


Dutchman and teacher Auke Reijenga (48) opened his own puzzle museum in a small Dutch city called Joure (website is in Dutch only).

Over the years Auke collected over fifty thousand puzzles which were all over his house and in a barn. Part of his puzzle collection (a few thousand) can now be viewed by puzzle lovers. There is also a part in the museum where kids can play with some puzzles. The puzzle museum has all kind of puzzles except for jigsaw puzzles. Auke and his wife solved almost all puzzles of his collection.
