Last year the largest puzzle maker of Europe, Ravensburger, has celebrated its 125th anniversary with a remarkable stunt. Almost 15,000 enthusiastic puzzle fans completed a puzzle of 1,141,800 pieces in the German town Ravensburg.

This week (October 7th) Dutch supermarket Albert Heijn (part of major international supermarket operator Ahold) will go for a new World Record for Jigsaw Puzzles.

Clients of almost 600 Albert Heijn supermarkets completed parts of upcoming world’s largest jigsaw puzzle which will be completed in the Olympic Stadium of Amsterdam.

The 3D pyramid puzzle has 240 jigsaw pieces is 16 cm (approx. 6,3″) high, five sides and has a genuine novelty as the pieces can be bent along the diagonal of a piece. There are six different pyramid puzzles available for Euro 23 each (approx. $ 33).
