If you liked Online Puzzle Game Bloxorz you will probably also like Cube-It.

Just like Bloxorz, Cube-It (aka Red Square) is a simple but very addictive puzzle game. The aim of Flash Puzzle Game Cube-It is to move the green cube around each level by clicking on any cube next to it.

Bloxorz is a brain twisting Flash puzzle game of rolling blocks and switching bridges and is created by Damien Clarke (well known from Jetspeed, Silversphere, The Missile Game 3D).

How to Solve A Maze Using Photoshop

Mazes-by-joe1

After the article ‘Amazing Mazes by Joe‘ I was looking for a way to solve Mazes just as you have solvers for Sudoku puzzles.

Via iBloggedThis I found a technique using PhotoShop to solve mazes. If you have PhotoShop and want to solve a maze you can watch the video how to do this. This is not how you should solve a maze but it can be useful or just for fun. Happy Puzzling!

Amazing Mazes by Joe

Mazes-by-joe

You probably never heard of Joe Barzantny, but his work is world famous. Joe amazed already at an early stage in his life his parents and friends with his very organized and artistic displays all over the floors or on tabletops.

In his young primary years, Joey’s teachers kept bringing to his mom’s attention that her son scored so high on maze testing that he was off the charts. He also placed high in analytical/mathematical/spatial tests. And this came despite the fact that he exhibited signs of attention deficit disorder, being easily distracted and having difficulty concentrating. He was a [Read More...]

Atome Online Puzzle Game

Atome is a variant of the well known puzzle game [Read More...]

Number Maze – The New Sudoku ?

Number_maze

Yesterday I received an email from Mike Reilly who invents puzzles. The latest one is called Number Maze and can be found via his website at a special Number Maze website. As Mike calls it, Number Maze is a Sudoku-like maze puzzle that uses the number pattern from a clock face, one through twelve.

Players must link these numbers in either direction – clockwise or counter clockwise – through the maze to solve the puzzle according to the rules.

RULES 1. Place any number, from 1 to 12, in each square of the [Read More...]

SommerCube 3D maze

Sommercube

As most designs of puzzles start with a little idea, the same applies to Michel Sommer. Also he had a little idea. A Cubical maze module: a simple three-dimensional cube with tunneling maze and a ball and to be able to stack the cubes.

However, with each additional module (transparent or opaque), the tubes link to allow a ball passage through progressively longer and exponentially more complex combinations of paths, creating varying levels of difficulty: “gymnastics for the mind”, spatial mathematical reasoning exercises.

Micheal created a reconfigurable system with different kind of modules with self explaining names like [Read More...]
