I’m back to the Twisty Puzzles, and this time I have a very cool little one, the Snow Mystery. It was designed by Leslie Li from Very Puzzles and it’s classified as a dihedral puzzle. It is closely related to the Rubik’s UFO, although the mechanism is completely different. Solving wise, I believe the Snow Mystery is easier to solve as well.
The colorful design of the puzzle and its snowflake shape captivated my attention right away. Usually, I’m easily thrown off by the extreme difficulty of most Twisty Puzzles, mainly because I’m [Read More...]
The object is to match the image in the top left corner. Tap on a white cell and it turns to 1. It will not affect its neighboring cells if they are white. However, if the neighboring cells (horizontal & vertical) are not white, they will increase by 1.
Each cell must be tapped once and only once. If a cell reaches 4 and gets increased again by its neighbor, it will go back to 1.
There are 64 levels. Right now I’ve done 1-48. But I skipped 41. I mostly do LogiSquares when I wake up and can’t go [Read More...]
The Nogglers NG-319 is a fairly common wood burr puzzle made by several manufacturers over the years and probably has other names as well. Out of 10 I would have to give it a difficulty of 1 to disassemble it; and a difficulty of 2 to reassemble it. No matter how new you are to these puzzles; it’s hard to believe it would take more than a few seconds to take [Read More...]
The Nautilus Cube is a very interesting looking puzzle. You definitely won`t find anything else that looks like this. The odd shapes that you make when mixing can be very confusing when trying to solve it. Twisty Puzzling has made a fantastic review of this puzzle.
You can purchase the Nautilus Puzzle at Puzzle Master.

The Cross Puzzle is about as simple to solve as you will find. However, there is a simple principle of Physics involve; and if you don’t twig on to it, try as you may, you’ll never get it apart. That principle is definitely not force. Force can probably be used to take just about any puzzle apart, but in doing so, it’ll also probably wreck the puzzle. The principle used in The Cross Puzzle is also used in other puzzles that have been around for years, taking different forms and made [Read More...]
