Cast ABC is a classic puzzle that has been around for years. I am not sure when it first appeared; but it would not surprise me if it is over 100 years old. One of my favorite cubes to play with. Have only solved it twice but this is a nice solution to get it right.

This is a fine collection of 144 intriguing illusions. There are examples of a lot of different forms of illusions. I say a lot because there is one form which I like which is not included. That being “trompe-l’oeil” which is French for still-life deceptions, illusion, sham or camouflage. A well-known artist who excels at it is Bev Doolittle.

Magic 16 is a marvelous puzzle for several reasons. First its shape and then the vibrant colors. That alone makes it “friendly” rather than “scary” for anyone first encountering.
