Grid Rotate Puzzle


Jim Blackler wrote a simple puzzle Flash puzzle game called Grid Rotate Puzzle. The idea is inspired by slide puzzle games (puzzle of fifteen) and Rubik’s Clock.

The objective of the Grid Rotate Puzzle is to return a grid of numbers to its original form by rotating individual 2 x 2 square bocks by 90 degrees. Hard to explain but give it a go, you’ll work it out quickly.

3D Logic 2 – Online Puzzle Game


Next to 3D Logic there is now also 3D Logic 2, a new edition of the first version of 3D Logic.

Object is still the same, link every pair of the same colored markers. You can only use the gray squares to create a link, the black squares are blocked. Difference between the first and the second release of this Flash Puzzle Game is that there is a story included. Every level tells you a part of the story (this function can be switched off). Void Cube aka Puzzle Cube


The Jury’s Grand Price Winner of the Nob Yoshigahara Puzzle Design Competition is the Void Cube designed by Katsuhiko Okamoto.

The first thing you will notice is that there are no center cubes. Goal of Void Cube is to scramble the Void Cube, and then restore all faces, like Rubik’s Cube. In some cases, it will appear that there is no solution to this cube; it is a second puzzle to figure why this happens.

Official Results World Rubik’s Cube Championship 2007


At the website of World Cube Association you can find all official results of the 4th World Rubik’s Cube Championship held last weekend in Budapest, Hungary.

For all events you can find at the website the results of this years competition; Rubik’s Cube (4x4x4 Cube, 5x5x5 Cube, 2x2x2 Cube, 3x3x3 blindfolded, 3x3x3 one-handed, 3x3x3 with feet), Rubik’s Magic, Rubik’s Master Magic, Megaminx, Pyraminx, Square-1, Rubik’s Clock, 4x4x4 blindfolded, 5x5x5 blindfolded and 3x3x3 multi blind. Create Your Own Rubik’s Cube Picture


This is not a puzzle, but a puzzle related puzzle weblog entry.

At website dumpr.net you can upload your own picture or select a picture from Flickr. After a view seconds you will see a 3D picture of a Rubik’s Cube with your picture shown at the three sides of the Rubik’s cube in 3D. Happy Puzzling!

Rubik’s Cube 4×4 Review


Thanks to my brother I finally added Rubik’s Cube 4×4 to my puzzle collection last weekend. Rubik’s Cube 4×4 is almost the same as the world famous Rubik’s Cube which is 3×3.

Object for solving Rubik’s Cube is the same as the original one but for th 4×4 there are more. This means there are more possibilities and thus more difficult to solve.

KISS – Rubik’s Cube


KISS Rubik’s Cube Coming This Fall. According to a posting on KISS’ official web site, a new KISS Rubik’s Cube will be released later this fall by KISS licensee Rabbit Tanaka. The KISS Rubik’s Cube features the solo faces artwork along with the KISS logo and icon images.
