Rubik’s Cube USB Hub on a Stick

Brando_usb_twister

Brando adds one more product to the near-infinite variety of USB hubs with its USB Twister Hub, a four-port USB 2.0 expander with Rubik’s Cube-like modules that twist to your bidding. It’s $26.

This is mildly amusing-looking, but not so cute as I could be when it really looked like a Rubik’s Cube. Although now you are able to rotate each USB port you have always enough space for your USB devices. Happy Puzzling!

Rubik’s Cube Goes Luxe

Rubikscubeluxe

Rubik’s cube was my first puzzle as just like me almost everybody had one in the eighties.

Though there have been numerous follow-up puzzles to Erno Rubik’s cube, there is now also a very luxury version available.

Featuring a chrome frame and inlaid richly-dyed calfskin color cubes, this update was developed by Geoffrey Parker, a British manufacturer of luxury games.

A perfect gift for the geek-turned-executive, the heavy chrome skeleton and beautiful leather inlays are sure to compliment the furniture in any corner office. [Via popgadget]. Happy Puzzling!

Cmetrick – Brain Busting Puzzle Game

Cmetrick

Do you still remember the Rubik’s cube? elogIQ’s Cmetrick Puzzle looks much like Rubik’s Clock.

Cmetrick is a puzzle that has nine colored balls in a 3×3 square. As you move the columns or rows of balls, the colored faces get scrambled! The goal is to develop an algorithm for bringing the puzzle from any scrambled configuration to its “Initial Configuration” (IC), in which all spheres are positioned in the same orientation. In the IC, the same color shows on top, right, left, front, back, and bottom of all spheres. [Read More...]
