About the Tree Ambigram Animation
The Tree Ambigram Animation was produced by Scott Kim in 1981. According to Kim, the animation was hugely inspired by the Space-filling Curves film by Nelson Max. It exposes unlimited zooms on self-similar recursive figures. Watch the animation and see how each letter E in the word TREE gives birth to two smaller trees.
A wall-sized version of this optical illusion is available at the Boston Museum of Science. This appears to be the most fascinating ambigram animation by Kim.

Since 1990, Scott Kim has been a full-time independent designer of visual puzzles and games for computer games, magazines, toys, and the internet. His puzzles are also inspired by Tetris and M.C. Escher which is why it is visually stimulating, thought-provoking, broadly appealing, and highly original.
Scott has created hundreds of puzzles for magazines and thousands for computer games. He is especially interested in daily, weekly, and monthly puzzles for the web as well as portable devices.
