Color Rush is a combination of Othello and Chinese Checkers.

You start as the white crystal on the lower left corner and pick colors to expand your field. Your opponent is the black gem at the right top corner. You win if you grab more than half of the crystals.

Lightning Bugs is a variant of the puzzle game called Samegame (originally invented in 1985 as Chain Shot).

You have to clear each level by casting your magic spell to capture the lightning bugs. Cast your spell on groups of the same color to clear them quickly. Capturing a single lightning bug requires the use of a crystal ball (shown at the left bottom of the screen).

Bloomin’ Gardens is another addictive Flash Puzzle Game. In Bloomin’ Gardens you’ll have to put your green fingers to the test and try to keep the garden manageable.

Plants are growing faster than you can pick them. For each plant you move three new plants are added to the game board. Your objective is to replace the plants in a single row of five or more plants to clear some space. The more plants in a single row the more points you get. Be aware there must be an ‘open’ path between the place you pick your plant and the place where you want to put the plant.

Use your mouse to move the plants, drag a plant to an empty space (move + left mouse button) or click on the plant you want to move and click again at the location where your want to put the plant back again. Happy Puzzling!

Gems Flash Puzzle Game is a variant of the world famous puzzle game Bejeweled.

The difference is in the shape of the gems. In Bejeweled the are in rows and columns and in Gems they are in a Hexagon shape where you have to try to match similar colored gems in groups of three or more (triangle shape). Every time you do that, you will get points and more time is added to the clock. Once you collect enough colored gems, try to match black gems to get to the next level.

Use your mouse to rotate gems. You can click the blue button in bottom right corner to change the direction of rotation. Happy Puzzling!

OrbMania is a simple but fun online Flash Puzzle Game by MaxGames.

You have to twist, turn and rotate three circles so you align different colored balls the same color of the center ball. Game controls are simple, use the arrow keys to rotate the circles and rows. Use the space bar to randomize the middle orb. Simple and fun for a (short) while. Happy Puzzling!

Connect-it is a nice Flash puzzle game and is similar to Mahjong in some ways, but different in others.

Your main objective is to remove image pairs (with some kind of dog on it) and clear the game board of all the monkeys gets to the top of the vines at the left side of the screen.
Pairs can only be removed if they have at least one open side and are a maximum of two turns away from each other.

There is an exception to this rule – if to identical ‘dog-images’ are sitting next to one another, they can be removed without the need for an open side. Accumulate spinning coins to buy power ups. The faster you are the more coins you get. Happy Puzzling!

During a business trip to Paris I walked by a toy-store. From the outside it looked rather small. As usual I went inside to look for new puzzles and to my surprise I discovered a reasonable large toy store nearby the Champs-Élysées.

Inside the toystore I found the K-Ball Puzzle including and CD-rom. The K-Ball is available in three variations: K-8 (a 2×2x2 puzzle), K-27 (a 3×3x3 puzzle), and K-32 (a 2×2x2 with rotating face-centers). The K-Ball Puzzle I found is a K-8 (a 2×2x2 puzzle) version. Object is to twist and turn until all six colored rings consist of one color. The quality is not that good and I think if you give it to a six years old kid it will be broken within one day.

The CD-Rom which was also included in the packaging is very nice. It contains a PC version of the K-Ball puzzle where you can choose twelve different skins and try to solve the K-Ball Puzzle. The CD also contains a description on how to solve the K-Ball Puzzle. This definitely helps you to solve K-Ball. Ball size: 3″ (7.5 cm) in diameter and is recommended for ages 6 and older. PuzzPinball is an original Flash Puzzle Game which combines Pinball with a puzzle game.

Your object is to place the flippers, bumpers and ramps so the ball reach the target. It will take some trail and error to find out how the objects have to be placed, but after a few levels this will go much easier. Happy Puzzling!

Sliding Block is a nice designed Flash puzzle game and has similarities of Fifteen Puzzle and Rush Hour.

Object is to move the red block outside of the frame. Game-play is not really handy as you really have to drag and drop the block with your mouse if you want to move a block in stead of just clicking on them (like in a lot of other puzzles like fifteen puzzle). Happy Puzzling!

With Halloween coming up, more Halloween Puzzle Games pop up, next to Halloween Smash which is Bejeweled clone there is another Halloween Puzzle game called Witchcraft which is a Mastermind Clone in Halloween style.

The object of this puzzle game is to discover the secret spell that will lift the witch’s curse. You cast spells by placing your five cards on the table in a certain order. After you cast your spell the Spirit will give you hints by lighting candles next to your cards. An orange candle means one of your cards is right, but it is in the wrong position. A white candle means one of the cards is in the right position. Unfortunately, the Spirit cannot tell which card is right.

You have to deduce the correct pattern of cards by trying different spells. If you can find the right spell within ten guesses, you’ll break the witch’s curse. Happy Halloween Puzzling !

Chat Noir is a small simple, small but nice strategic Flash Puzzle Game by GameDesign.jp.
Objective is to keep the black cat on the grid and let him not escape the grid. You can do this by strategic placing blocks on the grid which the cat can not pass. You need a bit of luck at the start of this puzzle game where a random number of blocks are already random placed on the grid.

Gear Puzzle is one of the games featuring in the Jay Is Games Casual Gameplay Design Competition. Without any explanation it’s clear what the objective is of this simple but lovely Online  Puzzle Game.

A small blue character with big puppy-dog eyes catches sight of a pink character locked in a cage. The cage is chained to a gear suspended from the top of the screen. Pegs line the wall and various sized gears are scattered around. Helpless but heroic, the blue guy does the only thing he can to help: jumps on the gear across the room and starts spinning it.

Your job is to arrange gears on the pegs to transfer the motion across the room to lower the cage. There is more than one solution so you can experimenting with gear combinations, but you do have to put some thought into your actions.

The gears must come in contact with each other in order to keep the movement going. Gear Puzzle will keep you puzzling for a while. Happy Puzzling!
